IELTS Speaking Topics: Names of fruits, food items, and vegetables

During IELTS Speaking, you may be asked to speak about fruits, food items, and vegetables. So, to do the best, you need to know them well ahead of the exam.

Here’s IELTS Speaking Topics: Food, vegetables and fruits, for your help :

  • Food items: Crispy chicken, French fries, Fish and chips, Burgers, Traditional meals, Plain rice, steamed rice etc. Example question: What kind of food do you usually eat? Well, frankly speaking, I don’t mind eating fish and chips every now then, however, when I’m at home, I’m kind of bound have traditional ones because of my mon.

 

  • Vegetables: Leafy spinach, Indian spinach, leafy vegetables, carrots, bottle guard, ladies finger, cabbage, cauliflower, bitter guard etc. Example question: Do you often take vegetables during your main meals? I’d say that’s not my cup to tea. Certainly, because of being a fussy eater. I just choose to be with crispy foods like, fish and chips, fried 

 

  • Fruits: Pears, oranges, grapefruits, mandarins and limes, nectarines, apricots, peaches and plums, bananas and mangoes, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, kiwifruit and passionfruit, watermelons, rockmelons and honeydew melons.
